Conference location

ILASS 2014 will take place at the Atlantic Hotel Universum Conference Site (see Venue). The conference centre is located directly at the campus of the University Bremen, that is 5km from the Bremen city centre. Travel informations you will find below. The Conference hotel as well as nearby hotels offer special rates during the conference.

Conference hotel

The Atlantic Hotel Universum Conference Site with its integrated hotel provides a full range of experience and support in conference organisation (see pictures to the right). Special rates are available for the participants in the conference at the host hotel and other hotels nearby at the University Campus as well as at the city centre of Bremen. Special conditions for ILASS participants are available until August 4th, 2014:

Single room category Economy € 69,--/per night (excluding breakfast à € 9,00)

Single room category Business € 89,--/per night (including breakfast)

Travel

By plane

The international airport of Bremen is very close to the city centre. In 30 minutes you can reach it by traveling with the public transport line No. 6. If you stay at the conference centre you may as well take the same line until station University NW1. There, you are only a 5 minutes walk away from the Conference Centre. Tickets are purchased inside the tram. A Taxi will cost about € 20,-.

By rail

If you arrive in Bremen by train, the easiest way to reach the conference centre is the public transport line No. 6 until station University NW1. There, you are only a 5 minutes walk away from the conference centre. Tickets are purchased inside the tram. A Taxi will cost about € 15,-.

By car

At the Bremer Kreuz you should take the A27 direction Bremerhaven and then take exit Universität / Horn-Lehe und drive direction Centrum/Universität.
